This mystical number shows up in life in all sorts of ways. Aside from a cat’s 9 lives, there are nine major planets in the solar system (yes, we still consider Pluto a planet). Beethoven wrote nine symphonies. The saying “On cloud nine” means happy or euphoric. A baseball team has nine players that play 9 innings, and of course The Beatles “Revolution 9”.
